About KeyDeck

Built by a developer, for developers. The story of how KeyDeck came to be.

Why I Built KeyDeck

As a developer working with Redis daily, I found existing tools either too complex, too expensive, or lacking the features I needed. I wanted something modern, secure, and beautiful—a tool that respected developer workflows and privacy.

So I built KeyDeck: a web-based Redis GUI with client-side encryption, real-time monitoring, and an intuitive interface. Every feature is designed from real-world needs. It's open source because I believe in giving back to the community that taught me so much. Your credentials never leave your device, your data stays private, and you get a powerful Redis management tool—for free.

What I Believe In

The principles that guide how I built KeyDeck

Performance First

I believe tools should be fast. KeyDeck is built with Next.js 15 and optimized for speed—because your time matters.

Privacy by Default

Your data is yours. Client-side encryption means your credentials never leave your device. No tracking, no telemetry, no compromises.

Developer Experience

As a developer myself, I design every feature with real workflows in mind. If it frustrates me, it won't ship.

Open Source

The community taught me everything I know. KeyDeck is free and open source as my way of giving back.
